To The Moon - 10 Innovative ETFs

Reviewing new and interesting ETFs that could explode the next 20 years.

Hello again there folks.

Hope you have had a great week and that the stock market is printing tendies for you.

Personally, I have not bought or sold anything the last few days.

The market is in a weird place with the Delta variant running around, so I’m waiting to see how the cards play out before I make anymore moves.

In case you don’t know I am a big fan utilizing ETFs for investing.

A little while back I sent out a tweet that a number of people seemed to find helpful.

Seeing this interest I wanted to create an entire email covering the ETFs mentioned in this tweet.

I’m going to include the ticker symbol, name of the fund, and main goals of each of the ETFs above.

Hopefully this will give you an idea if you want to look further into any of these.

QQQJ - Invesco NASDAQ Next Gen 100 Fund

QQQJ contains stocks that are “next up” to join the famous NASDAQ 100. The fund specifically invests into the 101st to the 200th largest companies in the NASDAQ. Naturally the majority of these are mid-capitalization stocks with the potential to grow into large cap companies.

ARKF - Ark Fintech Innovation ETF

This fund is one of Cathie Wood’s famous growth ETFs.

At least 80% of it’s assets are invested into companies involved with financial technology…aka fintech. These stocks are focused on innovating banking, blockchain technology, and frictionless transactions.

NERD - Esports & Digital Entertainment ETF

Enjoy hopping on the Xbox or PlayStation with the squad?

This is a Roundhill ETF offering exposure to esports and digital entertainment. Video game publishers, streaming provides, video game tournament owners, and hardware companies are all types of companies one can expect in this ETF.

SUBZ is another Roundhill ETF designed to offer investors exposure to the streaming industry. A few of the most popular holdings are Netflix, Disney +, Spotify, and Hulu. With 27% of Americans expected to cancel their TV plan by 2021 this could be one to keep an eye on.

ARKG - Genomic Revolution ETF

This ETF invests into companies focused on enhancing human life through “innovation and scientific developments.” Some of the main focuses are gene editing, therapeutics, CRISPR, stem cells, and more.

Side note, any of your buddies who act like they understand gene editing are full of it.

ICLN - iShares Global Clean Energy ETF

It’s no secret that clean energy is here to stay.

With ICLN investors gain exposure “to companies that produce energy from solar, wind, and other renewable sources.” This fund contains holdings from all over the world as only about 38% of assets are in U.S. stocks.

BETZ - The Sports Betting ETF

The last Roundhill ETF of the list is BETZ. This ETF contains companies involved with sports betting and iGaming industries. Investors can expect their money to go into companies like DraftKings, FanDuel, and Barstool Sports.

I might have to roll the dice with this one.

SMH - VanEck Semiconductor ETF

Compared to a number of others on this list SMH is much more concentrated.

It contains only 25 holdings, all of which are semiconductor companies in the US. For those who don’t know semiconductors are used to create chips and circuit boards used in electronics.

ARKX - Space Exploration and Innovation ETF

This one is a new kid on the block.

It offers exposure to global positioning systems (GPS) and space exploration. With the the recent success of Blue Origin and SpaceX it’s easy to see how space is a market ripe for disruption.

BOTZ - Robotics and Artificial Intelligence ETF

BOTZ holdings focus on companies that have the potential of capitalizing on the growth of robotics and AI technology. Stocks within this ETF might fall into autonomous vehicles and industrial production.

Basically, you are investing in the Terminator.

Conclusion

These are very unique ETFs that give investors a chance to invest into up-and-coming industries.

A great thing about these is that one doesn’t have to spend time researching stocks in an industry they believe has potential.

Instead, one can simply buy the ETF which tracks all stocks involved in that business.

As always, make sure to do your own research on any of these before investing in them.
