Laugh Through The Pain

If you are reading this well done, you have survived the last few weeks of chaos in the markets.

In the case that you live under a rock, the short story is the Trump threatened to nuke the economy by rolling out a wave of extremely high tariffs. Thankfully, this only lasted about a week before the majority of tariffs were reversed. Did he cave? Was it the “art of the deal?”

Who knows. Either way, the S&P 500 quickly fell just under 20% while the Nasdaq pulled back about 23% with more uncertainty on the horizon.

Market crashes aren’t fun, but dang they make for some good memes. So today I’m sharing with you five posts that gave me a chuckle and helped ease some of the pain. Don’t forget to peek at the “Cade’s Picks” section as well, there is a few great reads/watches to help keep you focused on the long term.

Let’s get into the posts (warning, there are a few f bombs below if that isn’t your thing). 👇️

Crypto bros are built different.

Who else can relate.

Some were calling him washed, but the old man still has it.

My guy is READY.

It always seem obvious in hindsight.

Cade’s Picks

The Great Tariff Debate (All-In Podcast) - Often times podcasts only give one side of the political aisle when discussing a topic. The All-In pod put together a great episode with individuals from both sides of the aisle breaking down tariffs. A little long, but a great one to add to your “watch later” playlist.

Joseph Carlson After Hours - I’ve shared Joseph Carlson videos on here before, but you might not know that he also has an “after-hours” channel dedicated to breaking down market news. While CNBC is screaming danger, Joseph is a voice of reason and does a stellar job of keeping you updated on the latest news while staying reasonable about market conditions.

Blow Up Your Life - Cool article I stumbled across by Jack Raines on why every young person should blow up their life just once. Jack has a cool story, and it is interesting to see how his not-normal path has lead him to a career in venture-capital.
